Whitechapel Project Public Engagement
Engagement with local groups on the archaeological research focusing on ASE’s large-scale multiperiod excavation at Whitechapel Central. Co-creation of workshops, site tours, exhibitions and partnerships.
Knowledge Exchange on e-learning
Market research and focus groups on archaeological training for non-professional archaeologists in partnership with the Council for British Archaeology and National Trust, leading to the development of an online learning course introducing learners to how we do archaeology in the UK. This followed a secondment with NT on evaluating wellbeing benefits of participation in archaeology.

Emily Johnson, Senior Digital Outreach Specialist

- Media relations - press release creation, strategy and collaboration with project partners, liaison with journalists through UCL Media Relations
- Social media - compiling and implementing social media strategies in line with client needs, managing social media response to outputs
- Content creation - including videos (short and long form), podcasts, news pieces, basic image posts.
