Jasmine Vieri awarded IAMS student bursary 2015-2016.
5 February 2016
Jasmine Vieri was awarded with the IAMS student bursary this year, which allowed her to pursue her career.
"I feel privileged to have received the IAMS bursary, for it has been vital in allowing me to further develop and deepen my understanding of archaeometallurgy, a field which I have a long-standing interest in. As part of my studies, I have access to abundant resources, including a fully equipped scientific laboratory, courses focused on archaeometallurgy, and the archaeometullurgical remains in the Institute's collections, which I am able to use for my own research. Importantly, receiving this bursary has allowed me to pursue my interest in the field directly after finishing my undergraduate studies, which otherwise would not have been possible."
