Prospective Students

UCL Anthropology is one of the largest in the country and its staff are engaged in pioneering research at the cutting-edge of modern anthropology. It is composed of four sections; Social and Cultural Anthropology, Material Culture, Biological Anthropology and Medical Anthropology which offer a wide range of courses to students from all over the world with a wide variety of educational backgrounds. We are proud of our excellent staff-student ratio and ability to provide small-group teaching. Located in the heart of London, UCL offers access to world-renowned resources including libraries, ethnographic collections, and laboratories.
