4th in the World for Anthropology – Four Years in a Row

UCL's Department of Anthropology has once again secured 4th place globally in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2025.

For the fourth consecutive year, UCL Anthropology has maintained its position among the world's top institutions for Anthropology. This achievement reflects the department’s unwavering commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and societal impact. 

The QS World University Rankings by Subject assess universities worldwide based on key performance indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, and research impact. UCL Anthropology’s continued success highlights its dedication to advancing anthropological knowledge and tackling complex global challenges.
