Wendy Chandler - UCL Anthropology

What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Either something to do with the police or a PE teacher.

What is your greatest fear?
Deep water.

What is your favourite cheap meal in London?
Franco Manca.

What keeps you awake at night?
Combination of my to do list, my cat, the police helicopter and foxes.

What would your super power be?
To freeze time.

What is your guiltiest pleasure?
Cheesy Pop music and anything Disney.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Toss up between my degree and breaking the borough record for long jump when I was at school.

What makes you unhappy?
Budgets not adding up, people talking in the theatre during a show, not getting enough sleep!

Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
Sorry – my friends tell me I have to pay £1 each time I use it.

How do you relax?
Reading crime books and going to the theatre (not at the same time).

What is top of your bucket list?
To travel through the United States as a road trip.

What or who is the greatest love of your life?
Musical Theatre and my cat (not to sound weird).

What is the most important lesson life has taught you?
Can I have 2….Be patient – not everything needs to be done straight away and don’t take anything for granted.

Which living person do you most admire and why?
Someone I used to work with who took everything that life could throw at you in one go, on the chin. She was always positive and giving advice and would do anything for anyone and being so genuine with it at the same time.

What is your most treasured possession?
All of my photos.

Which book/film/album changed your life?
P.S I love you/Come from Away the musical/Anything by Queen.

Who would you invite to your dream dinner party?
My mum, Will Smith, Alfie Boe, The Obamas, Harlan Coben.
