Going on fieldwork? Want to make fieldwork more do-able, and the field a better place to be? All Masters, Ph.D students, supervisors and staff are invited to join us for a department wide discussion on fieldwork preparation. Topics include risk and safety, access and institutions, power and positionality, and (mental) health and well-being in the field. Featuring post-fieldwork student presentations, an expert panel, as well as an open Q&A session where you can ask all burning questions, and have a sneak peek into our most terrible and remarkable fieldnotes!
Aimed at opening dialogue and sharing advice, preparing for the field, and working together on developing departmental fieldwork training.
