Documentary film and irreverent political act, On the bride's side/Io sto con la sposa is a visionary project about war, borders, civil disobedience, and the fantastical journey of five Syrian and Palestinian refugees from Milan to Stockholm. An incredible venture funded, distributed, and publicised by word of mouth across Europe, the film boldly recasts the Mediterranean Sea and Europe from graveyard of its travellers to space of possibility.
