airway hub

AirwayHub is a monthly multidisciplinary educational program in airway management, comprising a mixture of lectures by experts, mortality and morbidity and case-based discussions, literature review and a range of mannequin-based practical skills training. It will provide the forum for internal and external professional learning, development and discussion.

Topics covered will include: Difficult Airways Guidelines, Fiberoptic Intubation, Transnasal Humidified Rapid-Insufflation Ventilatory Exchange (THRIVE), obstetric airway management, paediatric airway management, virtual endoscopy, tracheostomy care, videolaryngoscopy, airway ultrasound, front of neck access, airway exchange technique, ORSIM simulator, etc.

Head and Neck anaesthetics, surgical consultants and Airway fellows at UCLH/RNTNE and external invited speakers.
