Our graduates are well placed to use their skills and knowledge to find employment in policy & government; consultancy; finance; journalism & the media; charities & international NGOs; libraries, museums & heritage; teaching; as well as for further research.
Our recent graduates have found employment in 20 countries, with nearly 40% finding work beyond the UK. The mean salary for graduates over the last 5 years was £30,494. The overall employment and training rate of our graduates is 98%, with about 75% going on to highly-skilled jobs or postgraduate-level study. This data is collected from the Graduate Outcomes survey.

Career advice
Our students benefit from advice provided by the UCL Careers Service. The UCL Careers Service provide a range of services including: careers fairs for a variety of sectors, short or long 1-1 meetings to discuss career choices, reading CVs, conducting practice interviews or assessment centre techniques, and written guides on many career pathways. Students benefit from tailored careers news and events organised by our dedicated Careers Consultant.
