We welcome Tom Furse to the Institute

Tom joins the UCL Institute of the Americas in September 2024 as Lecturer (Teaching) in US Politics and Programme Director of our MA in United States Studies.

He completed his PhD at City, University of London, and his current research interest is how the US army in the late Cold War interpretated the social sciences to rethink the role of the officer in future warfare.
