We're hiring! Associate Lecturer (Teaching) in History and Politics of the Americas

We are hiring
This is a part-time role, carrying out teaching and administrative duties within the Institute of the Americas, especially in relation to the first year students on the BA History and Politics of the Americas programmes.
 
The post holder will contribute to seminar teaching and lecturing undergraduate modules, and the delivery of Year 1 Study Skills classes. They will also supervise postgraduate dissertations.
This post is fixed term for 12 months, with an immediate start.
 
Key Requirements
 
The post holder will require a PhD in a relevant subject (either awarded or with a viva date set) and have research and teaching experience in the field of history and/or politics of the Americas. They should have the capacity to teach and give other forms of public presentation, and the ability to manage modules and module material using Moodle as a teaching and learning tool, after training.
