UCL Institute of the Americas launches two new event series

30 September 2021

New event series at UCL Institute of the Americas

We are pleased to announce that UCL Institute of the Americas is launching two new events series for the academic year 2021-22: Democracy and Governance in the Americas and Race and Racism in the Americas. These thematic series highlight the department’s status as a home for scholarship that cuts across the disciplinary boundaries between humanities and social sciences, as well as the geographical boundaries between North America, Latin America, and the Caribbean. They bring together high-level scholarship and expertise from within the department, UCL and fellow institutions both from the UK and abroad. These new series complement our existing series focusing on the Caribbean, Canada and US Foreign Policy.

Most of our events for Term 1 are already up on our Events webpage, and more will be added shortly. They are all free to attend, and registration is open.
