IHR lecture series named after UCL Americas Iwan Morgan

We would like to congratulate our colleague Professor Iwan Morgan on having a prize and an annual lecture named after him, in recognition of his contribution over many years to the study of US history in London.

This annual event will be convened and organised by the Institute of Historical Research (IHR) and is the result of an initiative to recognise the quality of the research of postgraduate students or recent doctorates, and to provide them with the opportunity to present as part of the IHR North American History series. The inaugural edition of the Iwan Morgan Lecture series will take place on June 16.

Iwan Morgan is Professor of US History at UCL Institute of the Americas and Honorary Commonwealth Fund Chair of American History at UCL Department of History.
