For UK institutions to invite an eminent senior professor from overseas, to bring genuinely novel expertise and enhance the skills and knowledge of academic staff and students in an underrepresented area in the UK.
Value
Applications are invited for a minimum of £10,000 and a maximum of £150,000.
Duration
A Visiting Professorship may last for between 3 and 12 months, and tenures of 6 months or more can be spread over 2 or more visits.

Initial expressions of interest and questions about the application process can be directed to Dr Néstor Castañeda in the first instance.
For the 1st 2024 round, expressions of interest should be received by 15 August, and submit a draft proposal by 6 September 2023. Applications to the funder close 5 October 2023.
For the 2nd 2024 round, expressions of interest should be received by 1 March, and submit a draft proposal by 28 March 2024. Applications to the funder close 2 May 2024.
