The UCL Institute of the Americas and Rodeemos el Diálogo invite you to a special screening of the celebrated documentary 'The Witness' (El Testigo) by prize-winning director Kate Horne.

In this moving documentary, Kate explores the life of Colombian war photographer Jesús Abad Colorado through his photographs of the armed conflict in Colombia. The film was recently launched on Colombian national television by Caracol and generated an overwhelming reaction from Colombian society.

The screening will be followed by a public dialogue with documentary photographer Carlos Saavedra, famous for his photographs of the Mothers of Soacha, and director Kate Horne, chaired by Andrei Gómez-Suárez (Honorary Research Associate at UCL Institute of the Americas and cofounder of Rodeemos el Diálogo).
