This year, over 250 alumni have volunteered their time to support the UCL Careers Service, speaking on panels, helping students practise their interview skills, and hosting workshops and hackathons.
UCL Careers provides numerous opportunities for students to develop their skills and find the right career path for them. This key part of the UCL student experience is shaped by the generosity of alumni volunteers who support events run by the Careers Team.
Our students hugely benefit from the time and care given by alumni volunteers. Natalia Mazzini-Cea, Careers & Alumni Partnership Manager, sees first-hand how alumni from a wide cross-section of careers add value to the activities which students participate in.
"It's wonderful when members of the alumni community come back to support students who were previously in their position. Our students are telling us time and time again that in addition to the skills they learn at UCL, speaking with alumni who have experience of the world of work after their studies is so important. From me and all of us at UCL Careers, thank you for adding value to the student experience in such a meaningful way."
