Our UCL Connect programme is dedicated to bringing professional development skill and expertise directly to alumni and students across the global UCL community. Whether you’re established in your career, moving into a new industry or considering your options post-graduation, the UCL Connect series has something for everyone.
UCL Connect ranges from in-person panels to online workshops and resources such as blogs, case studies and podcasts.

- 7 May 2025, 12:30-13:30 (GMT) - UCL Connect: How to build your self-confidence and unleash your potential. An online masterclass delivered by UCL alumna, Tiwalola Adebayo (née Ogunlesi), an award-winning confidence coach, TEDx speaker, and founder of Confident and Killing It.

Previous virtual UCL Connect sessions are available to view online, including:
- 12 March, 225, 12:30-1:30pm (GMT) - Navigating professional and personal differences in the workplace. A panel discussion, led by Professor Noreena Hertz, with UCL alumni panellists from HR, EDI, conflict resolution, and careers consultancy, followed by audience Q&A.
- 'Ageing Well', watch UCL's Dr Brian Beach discuss the latest ideas around ageing well with a panel of UCL alumni from fields as diverse as health, wellness, employment, and psychology.
- 'How to Master Motivation', an online panel discussion featuring four alumni panellists and chaired by Deputy Director of Student Support and Wellbeing, Mitesh Vagadia.
- 'Caring for the Carer – How to Avoid Caregivers' Burnout', an online talk and Q&A delivered by award-winning author, Sara Challice
- 'Nutrition - How to Enhance Your Productivity at Work', UCL's Dr Adrian Brown hosted a panel of experts who shared their tips and insights
- 'How Building a Personal Brand Will Boost Your Professional Profile in 2024', a masterclass delivered by UCL alumna Georgina Rutherford
- 'Everything You Need to Know About Setting Up Your Side Hustle', five UCL alumni discuss their experiences in this panel event
