Mr Vivian Lee, UCL Honorary Fellow and Chemical Engineering Alumnus is delighted to invite you to a dinner talk with Professor Davide Ravasi on 14 November 2025. Professor Ravasi will share insights into the future of management research and education at UCL, exploring how the School is bridging technological innovation with social understanding to address the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

This event will take place on Friday 14 November, 6:30-9pm local time at the Hong Kong Club, 1 Jackson Road.

Net proceeds from the event will go towards the UCL School of Management Student Hardship FundThis fund provides crucial support to students facing unexpected financial difficulties during their time studying with us.

About the Speaker

Professor Davide Ravasi

Professor Davide Ravasi is a leading scholar in innovation management, entrepreneurship, leadership, and strategy at the UCL School of Management. He currently serves as the School Director, leading UCL School of Management's strategic development in Canary Wharf, London.
 
His research focuses on strategic and organisational change, particularly on how organisational culture and identity influence, and are shaped by, these processes. More recently, his work has examined the roles of history and memory, together with the socio-cognitive dynamics of design, craft, and innovation, in shaping the processes of value creation.

Professor Ravasi’s work has appeared in leading journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Annals, Organization Science, Organization Studies, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Management Studies. He is also a co-editor of the Oxford Handbook of Organizational Identity.
