The UCL Singapore Group is proud to present an industry chat and speed networking session on Thursday, the 24th of March at 7:00pm SGT.
We will be joined at the start of the event by Praveen Velu, Strategic Partnerships Lead at Meta. Praveen will share fascinating stories from his varied career in tech and insights into the future of the industry in South East Asia. Stay on for audience questions, before we break out into small speed-networking groups.

About the Speaker
Praveen Velu
Strategic Partnerships Lead in APAC at Meta
Based in Singapore, Praveen began his career in financial broadcast journalism during the Global Financial Crisis. After graduate school at UCL, he transitioned to tech working on digital media and the early Creator economy. This was followed by a stint as an A.I. entrepreneur.
More recently, he has been involved in building an ecommerce business from scratch as the Strategic Partnerships Lead in APAC for Meta. Praveen graduated from UCL with a Master's in Legal and Political Theory.
