Last year, UCL launched a brand new alumni community dedicated to graduates from the last 10 years. The United States network aims to expand this vibrant community. We will bring together former and current UCL students through career-oriented events and plenty of networking opportunities!

Hear from distinguished alumna Dr Nicole McKnight, CEO of Stellate Therapeutics and VP of the UCL Friends & Alumni Association. Nicole will offer her insights into the biotech industry, her student experience at UCL, and how to navigate professional uncertainty.

UCL Recent Graduate Network - USA Lead Alumni Volunteers
Alumni speaker: Dr Nicole McKnight (PhD Cancer Research UK 2011)
Nicole is CEO at Stellate Therapeutics, a neurodegeneration therapeutics company. She was the founding Managing Director of BioLabs@NYULangone and is co-founder of Keystone for Incubating Innovation in Life sciences Network (KiiLN), a non-profit accelerator for entrepreneurial scientists.
A former molecular and cell biologist, Nicole performed her postdoc research at Mount Sinai and PhD work at Cancer Research UK in the London Research Institute. She is a dual US/UK citizen, grew up in Massachusetts, and also trained at the University of Chicago and Harvard Medical School/Beth Israel Deaconess.
Nicole is Vice-President of the UCL Friends & Alumni Association (UCLFAA), a US non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and support for research and education at UCL, and a volunteer with Leading Women in Technology’s WILpower Program.
