For Graduates

You're well qualified and ambitious, with the drive and commitment to succeed. But how do you make sure you find the right career path? How do you tap into your potential and get yourself on that road to success? Knowledge Transfer Partnerships could be just the route you're looking for.

What is Knowledge Transfer Partnerships?

One of Technology Strategy Board's business support products, it's probably one of the smartest move you'll ever make on your route to business leadership.

How does it work?

Each Partnership is a one, two or three year collaboration between a business and a university, college or research organisation. Put simply, we match the needs of a business with academic knowledge and expertise to help bring about strategic change. This is where you come in - each Partnership employs a recently qualified person to manage and deliver the project on a day-to-day basis, and as each Partnership is central to the needs of the business, it's hard to see how you could find a higher profile role.

Don't Just take our word for It

Thousands of recently qualified people across the UK have benefited from KnowledgeTransfer Partnerships. In fact independent research shows that 70% of Associates are offered roles within their host companies at the end of the Partnership. We also recognise your own needs for continued professional development. That's why every Associate also benefits from a structured management training programme.

So what next?

To succeed as an Associate you will need to be an innovative thinker with the ability to work with senior managers and academics. You will also have a good degree, equivalent vocational qualification or be a post-graduate researcher in an appropriate subject. If you think you have what it takes to make a real strategic impact on a business then we'd like to hear from you.
