Administrative and Finance Assistant
The Administrative and Finance Assistant will need to provide support to the Departmental Administrator and in some cases, to the Head of Department and will be a key member of the administrative team. The appointee will have an enthusiastic and proactive approach and will be able to work independently as well as part of a small team within a relaxed and friendly environment.
e-Infrastructure Engagement Coordinator (Secondment)
The main purpose of this post is to drive the use of e-Infrastructure services by local and/or regional SMEs, as well as facilitating engagement, collaboration and knowledge exchange the between academic researchers and industrial and other commercial organisations based around their use of e-Infrastructure services. The focus of this will (initially at least) be the services offered by and through the Centre for Innovation, but will also include other ‘e-Infrastructure’ services offered by UCL RITS and/or the SES-5.
Additionally, the post will be
tasked with facilitating collaboration between researchers from different CfI partner
institutions, and between different Departments and Faculties within UCL, based
around use of e-Infrastructure services.
Knowledge Exchange Associate (KEA)
A collaboration between UCL Advances and a small
Knowledge Exchange Associate (KEA) is a 6 or 9 month training programme to deliver a knowledge-transfer collaboration between a small or medium-sized enterprise and UCL.
Student Researchers - Inter-Cep
UCL Advances is developing tools and resources for academic and public policy researchers around the world who investigate entrepreneurship and related support programmes. These will come together under the banner of the International Centre for Entrepreneurship Policy, (Inter-CEP).
CleanTech Challenge 2014-2015 - Co-Chair
The CleanTech Challenge is a global student competition organised by University College London (UCL) and London Business School (LBS). The competition brings together technology and business students to develop their own clean technology start-ups.
As the UCL Co-Chair of the CleanTech Challenge, along with the LBS Co-Chair, you will lead the committee of MBA and postgraduate students organising the 2015 CleanTech Challenge.
