Head of MarComms
As the Head of MarComms, Kris leads the development and delivery of strategic communications and marketing to a wide variety of UCL’s key audiences. Kris leads a team of 15, who work across such diverse areas as CRM, Publications, Social Media and Advertising, and Events.
Kris joined UCL at the beginning of 2019, having spent the preceding decade working in a variety of marketing, communications and fundraising roles at some of the best-known brands in the non-profit sector. This includes 5 years at Save the Children, where Kris led on supporter marketing and fundraising, transforming the organisation’s communications from a traditional to an audience-focused relationship-marketing model.
In addition, Kris has held marketing roles with the British Red Cross, Marie Curie, CAFOD, and most recently the Hong Kong based charity Animals Asia.
Kris holds an honours bachelor’s degree from Cardiff University, and in 2009 was awarded a Professional Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
