TechSocial = Linux Install Party!
For March TechSocail, ARC hosted a GNU/Linux install party - inviting everyone to bring their Linux T-shirts and sticker-covered laptops for an evening of fun!
A slightly different format to our usual TechSocial's, the Linux install party was a place for newcomers wanting a taste of Linux or help with installations, and for Linux enthusiasts to experiment with new distros or help newcomers in choosing their first distro.
Following a short introduction from researchers at ARC, attendees were split into small groups for people hacking their way into Linux.
