Computing Club sessions are a mix of introducing new skills and opportunities to work on challenges for taught students. Get to know your network while developing your skills in advanced computing platforms such as HPC or cloud compute.
HPC clusters can perform the most demanding simulations and data-intensive analyses and are used in a wide range of academic disciplines and industry sectors e.g. modelling climate change, developing energy-efficient catalysts, or understanding pharmaceutical drug-target interactions.
Some previous programming experience is required. Familiarity with the command line is desirable, but not essential.
The monthly Club sessions will be a mix of introducing new skills and opportunities to work on challenges, accompanied by refreshments with plenty of opportunities to socialise and code collaboratively.
Join in with ARC Cluster Club on MS Teams to get involved with all the latest chat about upcoming sessions.
