According to the 2021 State of Open Data report by Digital Science, only 28% of researchers are familiar with FAIR principles, and even fewer actively apply them. One key barrier is the lack of recognition for both the researchers’ efforts and the public good of making digital objects FAIR.
This workshop will discuss:
- The importance of FAIR practices in enabling research reuse and innovation
- The role of narrative CVs in acknowledging FAIR contributions
- Strategies to better recognise and reward FAIR research efforts
