Cluster Club

Develop your technical skills and meet students with similar interests by joining the ARC Cluster Club, and gain hands-on experience in a range of computing technologies!

We hold the club sessions on the last Wednesday of the month from 14.00 [GMT] onwards.

Some previous programming experience is required. Familiarity with the command line is desirable, but not essential.
If you do already have experience, any level, then that is great too! 

HPC clusters can perform the most demanding simulations and data-intensive analyses.
They are used in a wide range of academic disciplines and industry sectors including:
- modelling climate change
- developing energy-efficient catalysts
- understanding pharmaceutical drug-target interactions

The themes for our upcoming Term 2 sessions are:

• January: Data visualistion
• February: Parallel programming
• March: Bench marking

We will be sharing our themes for the Term 3 sessions soon, watch this space!
