UCL is committed to investing in people, buildings and technology to deliver its institutional strategy and ensure long-term financial sustainability.

Despite the challenging environment, UCL's financial performance has remained stable. 2024 marked the first year of our new financial strategy and has demonstrated our ability to manage our cost base and respond quickly to volatility in the postgraduate student recruitment market that was seen across the sector.

UCL's new financial strategy was developed alongside the Strategic Plan 2022-27 to ensure UCL’s long term financial sustainability. This focuses on both income growth and cost control.
