WinGreek Notes: The WinGreek font (its name is actually just Greek) comes in two versions:
- Version One (dated 21/04/1993; size: 55 Kb) is a regular font, though it is not Euro compatible.
-
Version Two (dated 31/08/1993; size: 71 Kb) is a symbol font, and therefore not compatible with Word 97 or above.
I have developed a Euro-compatible version of this font, but I need to get in contact with the original developers before I can release it.
WinGreek Download notes: Currently, the fonts are distributed with the original WinGreek package, which also contains Hebrew and Coptic fonts, and the accenting utility Beta, which only works in Windows 3.11 or below. I hope to be able to distribute just the fonts, though I must first seek permission from the original developers. The package contains both versions of the font - version two can be found in a folder entitled Version 2, funnily enough.

OldFace Notes: Greek Old Face Anglophone is the font included with the Son of WinGreek, but can also be purchased separately. This version (dated 8th Feb, 2000) is Euro compatible, and replaces previous versions, which should be deleted before this font is installed. Registered users of the font or of Son of WinGreek can get Greek Old Face Continental free, which differs from the Anglophone in the epsilon, theta, kappa, rho and phi:

Korinthus notes: the file contains three fonts (all updated to be Euro compatible, replacing earlier versions), consisting of Korinthus and its specially designed italic version:
and also Korinthus New, which has more standard designs for the letters kappa, chi, xi, and zeta.
Registered users can request the Type 1 (ATM-compatible) version of the Korinthus font; a version of the Korinthus font in the Vilnius University encoding (called
Corinthus) in TrueType and Type 1 (contains useful uppercase letters with iota subscript and diaeresis); and samples of the forthcoming Greek fonts, when they appear.

Grecs du roi notes: Grecs du roi is Euro compatible, and contains special design features to ensure that the fonts is sharp and legible at small font-sizes (8,
10, 11, 12, and 14 pt). Registered users can request the Type 1 (ATM-compatible) version of the Grecs du roi WG font; and a version of the Grecs du roi font in the Vilnius University encoding
(Grecs du roi VU), TrueType and Type 1 (compatible with the Lector program by Robert Maier for reading PHI and TLG CDs).
