UCL Institute of Education awarded Queen’s Anniversary Prize

Principal theme: Addressing global challenges

In recognition of its “world-leading contribution to the policy and practice of education with international reach around innovative social research”, the UCL Institute of Education (IOE) has been awarded a Queen’s Anniversary Prize for Higher and Further Education. 

The merger of the institute and UCL in 2014 created the leading UK university for social sciences.

 

 

Between 2014 and 2019, the IOE’s award-winning First World War Centenary Battlefield Tours Programme is giving a minimum of two students and one teacher from every state-funded secondary school in England the opportunity to visit the battlefields on the Western Front.
