New Grand Challenges

A review of the first five years of UCL Grand Challenges will result in an expansion of its portfolio in 2016–17 to include Transformative Technologies and Justice & Equality. 

The Grand Challenges programme provokes new and intense collaborations across the breadth of UCL’s disciplines and stimulates productive interactions with policymakers, practitioners and community groups.

Ahead of the COP21 Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) in Paris in December 2015, UCL Grand Challenges held a major event, in conjunction with the French Embassy, called Adapting to Climate Change. Films of the event can be seen on the Grand Challenges website.
