The United Nations (UN) wants to eradicate poverty worldwide by 2030. UCL’s Institute for Global Prosperity is building partnerships and generating ideas to create prosperity across the globe.
At Countdown 2030, the institute brought together award-winning entrepreneurs, innovative researchers and members of the millennial generation for a one-day debate on the Sustainable Development Goals embedded in the UN’s 2030 Agenda.

" The youth groups, students and researchers who met at Countdown 2030 on 28 November reinvigorated the drive to sustainable development that had been marred by lack of coordination and concern since the ‘failure’ of the Millennium Development Goals in 2015.” Hannah Sender, Project and Communications Officer, UCL Institute for Global Prosperity
