Since its inception the University College London Union Table Tennis Club (UCLU TTC) has provided its members with the opportunity to participate in both social and competitive table tennis. Players of all abilities are more than welcome to join the sessions. We run 3 sessions per week through-out the academic year for players of all levels and we currently sport 4 competitive teams in 4 different leagues. Last year our 1st teams were champions of the Central London League, and consequently have been promoted to the Premier Division. We have enjoyed continued successes in the British Universities & Colleges Sport (BUCS) and Central London league competitions over the past few years.

Our club coach, Shu Huang is a former international female Chinese table tennis player. She is now very established in English Table Tennis. Shu provides world-class coaching for both competitive and social players, at the appropriate level for the participants.

Membership is open to all UCL staff, students and alumni for £10 per year. Non UCL members may also join for an additional fee of £25 owing to the need for a separate insurance agreement with UCLU.

In this coming academic year, the club will be holding sessions on Tuesday (20:00 -22:00), Thursday (20:30 –22:00) and Friday (17:00-20:00) providing six and a half hours of table time for our members. The UCLU Table Tennis Club plays at the Somerstown Community Sports Centre in Euston, a 10 minute walk from the main UCL cam-pus on Gower Street and a 5 minute walk from Euston tube station.
