We meet Mondays 5–7pm in the Garage Theatre during term (directions below). Some of us go on to the UCL union afterwards. All are welcome to both; you can come along for the first time at any time during the year.

Summer special: while the weather is nice we're meeting in Gordan's square at the usual time, even though it is out of term time.

How to find us

We meet in the Garage Theatre, the right-most door into Wates House (ringed), accessible from Gordon Street or Taviton Street. Just come along, let yourself in and introduce yourself to someone. We're a friendly bunch.

We're thinking of having T-Shirts. There will be a competition to design the front. Details to follow.

Information for Jugglers

History

It's nice to record who was involved in the society and who we have to thank for keeping it going. Perhaps we should have photos of these people.

2004–5

Patrick Nasralla became president and Emma-Jane Smith became Treasurer. Iain Murray carried on his casual webmaster role.

2003–4

Cameron Christie continued to be president, despite being in his final year. I think Alan and Judy were supposed to be helping. In the first term we performed in a London nightclub and at a student rally using glow balls and fire.

2002–3

BALLS! was set up in 2002 by Cameron Christie with help from Alan Hewitt (and others?). Setting up BALLS! as an official society and finding a venue (Garage theatre) was a lot of work, for which we should be grateful. Despite being a small society in its first year, BALLS! put on a popular performance at the UCL union talent show.

Before BALLS!

Apparently there used to be a society called the UCL Tossers during the 1990s. Juggling.org lists the contact as Ab Wilson and says they met in Carrol Marx Hall, Huntley Street. I'm sure there have been other UCL juggling meetings as well.

Other Juggling Societies and Events

londonjuggling.org lists juggling events in and around London.

Here are other juggling societies in the UK (mainly universities). They'll have their own links and general information, which might be useful.

The open directory dmoz maintains lists of Juggling Clubs and Organizations and College Juggling Clubs. Many of them are in the states.
