We are based at the Lord Butler Fitness & Leisure Centre, Saffron Walden, Essex(outdoor courts). Contact point - Sally Auger (me!) on 01371 831490. We play every Tuesday evening thoughout the year, 8 - 9pm. It is a friendly relaxed club which is becoming increasingly popular.We have lots of members with a wide range of experience. Age ranges from 15 to late 40's.. This year we entered a team into the local Summer league (on monday evenings) and have just entered a team into the Winter league at Bishops's Stortford on Sunday mornings - we are looking for a couple of extra players to make up a squad of ten... We have also started to organise charity mixed netball tournaments (4 ladies & 3 men per team ) the first one on 10th August attracted 8 teams & raised £120 for charity - the next one is on the 13th october. we would be interested in arranging an all ladies friendly tournament if there are any teams out there interested???
A few of us are looking to attend an unpiring course & coaching days so that we can improve our game. we also would like sponsorship for our Winter league team & are looking for the council to help us get better quality pitches to play on & be recognised as the offical club for our town.
