Contemporary Hollywood films are the most deplorable cultural phenomenon of our time. The way they trivialise life makes me sad and angry. I don't watch them and no one should. Fortunately, other people in other places are making wonderful films all the time. HERE is a list of good films I've seen, made roughly during my film-going life.
