Marriage Market Imbalances

Sex selective abortions cause marriage market imbalances in countries such China and India, and create major social problems. However, marriage market imbalances can also arise due to other factors, and my recent research explores these causes, and the consequences of imbalances.  Some of this research was undertaken with the support of a Senior Research Fellowship from the British Academy/Leverhume Trust.
