Christopher Abram

Lecturer in Medieval Scandinavian Studies, University College London

Welcome to my homepage. I teach Old Norse language and literature and 'Sources for the Viking Age' in the Department of Scandinavian Studies at UCL. Click the 'courses' link to the left for more details.

I'm interested in all aspects of Medieval Scandinavian literature, history, and culture, although the main focus of my research is currently on the interface between pre-Christian mythology and post-Conversion literature, and on literary relations between England and Scandinavia, c. 1100-1250. Click on 'research' if you'd like to find out more.

Under 'links' you will find an assortment of links to on-line resources relating to Old Norse, the Viking Age, and to medieval studies more generally.
