The UCL Cardiovascular Engineering Laboratory is devoted to the  development and clinical implementation of improved therapeutic solutions for cardiovascular diseases. It is part of UCL Mechanical Engineering, within the Engineering Faculty at University College London, and is located in central London.

The laboratory is equipped with high-quality facilities for the treatment and testing of biomaterials, and state-of-the-art testing devices for the assessment of the hydrodynamic performances and durability of cardiovascular implants.

The research team, which closely collaborates with various Centres of Excellence at UCL and UCLH/NHS, offers specific and unique expertise for the study of cardiovascular science and for the design, development and assessment of clinical applications.
