2nd UK C. elegans meeting

The second UK C. elegans meeting will be held on Friday January 7th 2005. The location will be the Gustav Tuck lecture theatre at University College London, Gower Street London. The meeting will be free, and attendees are invited to arrive from 9.00 to sign in. We envisage that talks (15 mins long, with 5 mins for questions, plus one longer plenary talk) will run from 10am until 5-6 pm, with a combined lunch and poster session in the middle of the day. A prize will be awarded for the best poster.

Those wishing to speak or present posters are asked to email an abstract to one of the organisers (see below). To faciliate preparation of the abstract book, please use the following format: Title: Helvetica 16pt, Bold, Authors: Arial 12pt, Italic, Affiliations: Times 12pt, italic, Body: Arial 12pt, References: Times 10pt.

Abstracts should be submitted by Monday Dec 6th. A schedule of speakers will be announced on this site on Dec 8th. Shortly after that a down-loadable document with a list of abstracts will be posted on this site.

There is no registration fee, and coffee and a cold lunch will be provided. However, we do not plan to organize an evening meal. Instead, here are details of a number of nearby restaurants where you may book tables if you wish, and pubs. For information about local hotels, see accommodation.
