Generic Skills Tasks

I have done several generic skills tasks during the CoMPLEX MRes year. The aim of these tasks is to help students develop skills which will become useful for their future research. Below, you can read more about the tasks I have done:

Computer Programming Task

Description: The aim of this task was to develop a machine learning programme in Mathematica, which could predict the response of HIV-infected patients to therapy, based on different measurements.

MBA Poster

Description: As part of the MRes course, students spend a week at the laboratory of the Marine Biology Association in Plymouth. Upon returning from Plymouth, students make a poster about a topic they have learnt during their trip. My poster is about how dolphins' communication signals can be studied using information theory tools.

In addition to the above tasks, I have presented a paper in CoMPLEX journal club, have given an oral presentation on my summer project and designed this website!
