Miscellany

Here are a number of things I've written along the way, some more directly related to my studies than others...

• A discussion of Cellular Automata, including a Java applet demonstrating a set of simple 1D examples, produced as an offshoot of my first Case Essay.
• An early Journal Club-style discussion of a paper about a linguistic approach to antimicrobial peptide design, written in conjunction with the ABMB course.
• A diaristic account of the ITPL practical week.
• A rant about Microsoft's PowerPoint and why it should be considered harmful to the scientific discourse.

I imagine more stuff will accumulate here as we go, so watch this space.
