Visit the UCL Optomechanics Group

The optomechanics group meets every Thursday 4-5pm for tea and science discussion in room A13. This is in addition to the regular seminar of the full AMO group on Weds. 4-5pm. Visitors are welcome to join for informal discussion and or to give a whiteboard or powerpoint talk on some aspects of optomechanics and or quantum sensing. Contact any one of us by email.

How to find us

UCL is close to several underground stations (see map) including Euston, Warren Street - and Kings Cross and St Pancras are about 10 minutes walk away, along the Euston Rd (see map) if you arrive on Eurostar.

In particular Euston Square underground is practically inside the UCL campus. This is especially convenient if you are arriving from Heathrow airport. In that case:

(1) Take the Heathrow express train -15 minutes from Heathrow to Paddington.
(2) From Paddington, take the Circle line tube (yellow) or Hammersmith line (pink)to Euston Square. Then follow the red line on the map: from the tube walk into the UCL main entrance
(3) walk diagonally left across the Quad to the door in the far left corner; walk straight through two double doors and you will be in the Physics lifts.
(4) Take the lift to the top (3rd) floor and we are all in offices along the corridor (A8-A14).

You are very welcome to visit us for Tuesday opto tea.
