I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Statistical Science at Univercity College London (UCL) under the supervision of Prof. Tom Fearn and Dr. Ioanna Manolopoulou. My research focuses on developing probabilistic models that describe the heterogeneity of diferrent stages between diseased and healthy cancer tissues based on infrared spectroscopic, data in order to allow early-stage clinical diagnosis.
In the past, I also worked with Prof. Mark Girolami.
Before joining UCL, I received my master's degree in 'Statistics & Mathematical Modeling', from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. I compleded my master thesis under the supervision of Prof. George Tsaklidis.
Prior to my master, I studied Mathematics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The final year I worked by Assistant Prof. Aleka Papadopoulou and Prof. George Tsaklidis. into two diferent projects.
