Elected Class Representative of Junior College and undergraduate medical school.

1984-86

Elected Cultural Secretary in the Goa Medical College, wrote, directed, acted in small plays, represented the Medical School at state level cultural meet "Creations-'85" and won the All Round Team Shield.

1988-99

Anti-Tobacco Campaigns: Debates, Elocution competitions, talks on All India Radio (Goa), banning sale of cigarettes on medical college campus, Television shows on satellite- Zee TV. letters in national newspapers, talks to School children, etc... Active member of National Organisation of Tobacco Eradication (NOTE, India) and the WHO award winning electronic interactive group, GLOBALINK, UICC. Published Letters to newspapers & scientific peer-reviewed papers in international journals

For word processing, data management and analysis, presentation graphics, and statistical analysis Accreditation of computer skills by the British Computer Society - (European Computer driving Licence) after satisfactorily passing the tests conducted through University College London for efficient use of Personal Computers.
