Configuring Cisco Network Devices with a Palm
« BackSorry, this article isn't ready yet. Below are my notes on it for expansion at a later date.
Adapter, 3 pins to end
red to 5, yellow to 3, black to 2.
cradle/cable -> serial. adapter as above. RJ11 (??) - > RJ11 console cable into device.
different devices use different flow control. adjust until works!
9600, no stop, 8 bits.
pTelnet is free. Online is better (hi res support) but costs.
press on, hit return couple of times.
also works for 3coms.
