Telescopes to look at the Sun and the evening sky (weather permitting)

There will be several portable telescopes out in the front yard of the college looking at the sun with special filters that will show any regions of high activity, like sun spots, large prominences and possible solar flares. Other telescopes will be used to find selected stars and other astronomical objects after dark, weather permitting.
