The Magic Planet
Location: Garden Room (South Cloisters)
This is a large ball on which the surfaces or atmospheres of any planet are projected. For the earth, you can choose so see clouds, weather patterns, movements of the continents, global warming and many more. Jupiter will show its turbulent clouds and Mars its vast red deserts. You will see the planets slowly rotating. You can see them sidewise or from the top.... it is.... magic!
