Our microarray facility consists of a complete Affymetrix GeneChip Instrument System, which includes the GeneChip Scanner 3000, with latest upgrades and autoloader, and two fluidics stations allowing for a 24-32 sample capacity per day.

Service Options:

We provide a comprehensive service to assist you in running all of your Affymetrix microarray experiments, catering across the entire Affymetrix platform. We pride ourselves on our competitive prices and fast processing times.

We offer two levels of service:

Full service: From Total RNA to Data. A fully quality controlled array service.

Provide us with 50ng – 5ug of Total RNA (depending on the array type)

Service includes:

• Initial consultation, including expert advice on experimental design
  
• Quantification and QC analysis of the total RNA
  
• Preparation of labelled, fragmented cRNA/cDNA according to Affymetrix protocol following all recommended QC steps
  
• Hybridisation, probing and scanning of the sample onto the arrays
  
• Provision of quality controlled array data with RMA QC report

Basic Service: Hybridisation, probing and scanning only

Provide us with the fragmented, biotinylated cRNA/cDNA.

Service includes:

• Initial consultation, including expert advice on experimental design
  
• Hybridisation, probing and scanning of the arrays
  
• Provision of quality controlled array data with RMA QC report
