This interdisciplinary programme welcomes candidates from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds, and is suitable for students who wish to develop their understanding of the current debates in this field, either as a foundation for further research or to enrich their practical and professional contribution to the urban arena.

To find the course on the application system, please use 'urban' as a keyword rather than 'urban studies'. The programme is administered through the Department of Geography.
Applications close 2 August 2013. Applicants who require a student visa should do their utmost to submit the programme application form before July 2013, ideally earlier, to ensure that there is enough time to process all the necessary paperwork.
Potential applicants are expected to have a first or upper second-class Honours degree in a relevant discipline from a UK university or an overseas qualification of an equivalent standard.
